A Bunch of Numbers Limited – Returns & Replacements Policy

Overview

 

Each FRΛGMENT unit is custom-made and individually quality-checked before shipment. Consequently, we generally cannot accept returns or exchanges once a product has shipped. However, we are committed to resolving genuine issues quickly, fairly and in good faith.

 

Custom-Made Orders and Cancellations

 

Under UK and EU consumer law, customers normally have a right to cancel online purchases within 14 days.

 

However, because each FRΛGMENT unit is custom-made to your specifications, this right does not apply once production has begun, in accordance with Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16.

 

This exception does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty, damaged or misdescribed products under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 

Once a Group Buy closes or production begins, we are unable to accept cancellations or changes to orders.

 

Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) or Faulty Items

 

If your PCB or any component arrives non-functional, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at: support@abunchofnumbers.com

 

We may request photos, short videos or a brief description to verify the fault. Once confirmed, we will either:

 

Arrange a replacement at no cost to you; or provide a prepaid return label for the faulty item.

 

Replacements will be shipped once the original item has been received and inspected (where applicable).

 

This process ensures quality control and prevents misuse of the returns system.

 

Cosmetic and Manufacturing Issues

 

Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery.

 

If you notice any marks, dents or cosmetic damage to the case or external components, contact us before assembling or modifying the keyboard.

 

Once the keyboard has been built or any parts installed, we may be unable to offer replacements for cosmetic or structural issues, as we cannot verify when or how the issue occurred.

 

Incorrect or Missing Items

 

If your order arrives incomplete or contains incorrect parts, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

 

We will investigate and arrange for any missing or replacement components to be shipped promptly at no additional cost.

 

General Policy

 

Because FRΛGMENT units are made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges once production has started.

 

However, we handle all matters on a case-by-case basis and will act reasonably to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to pay any applicable tariffs, duties or import taxes required by their local customs authority. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees unless explicitly stated or included.

 

If a shipment is refused or returned to us because the required tariffs or duties were not paid, the order will be sent back to ABON in the UK. In this case, we will refund the order amount minus any costs we incur for shipping, return shipping, customs duties, taxes or other related fees. The refund will be issued once the returned items have been received and processed by our team.

 

Additional Information for International Customers

 

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under consumer protection laws in your country. Depending on where you live, you may have additional protections, such as:

 

EU residents have a 14-day withdrawal right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (except for custom-made goods). You also benefit from a two-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty or not as described. If you are an EU consumer, you can also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

 

Australian customers have guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law for defective or misdescribed goods.

 

In the USA and Canada custom made products are final sale but manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced.

 

Hong Kong and Singapore customers have rights under the Sale of Goods Ordinance (HK) or Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (SG).
